Nearly 40 Years of Family-Led Care
Founded in 1987, Burgh House has been providing compassionate, family-led care to the local community for nearly four decades.
A new chapter began in 1999 when Julie and Jon took ownership, bringing with them a clear vision — to create a home where every resident feels comfortable, supported, and truly valued. What started as a small, family-run home has grown carefully over time, including the addition of Nightingale House and Grebe Gardens, allowing us to support more residents without losing the personal touch that defines us.
Throughout this growth, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to treating every resident as an individual. From day-to-day care to the smallest personal details, we focus on creating an environment where people feel safe, respected, and at home.
Today, Burgh House remains proudly family-run, with the next generation playing an active role in its ongoing development — ensuring we continue to evolve while staying true to the values we were built on.

Grebe Gardens offers a collection of spacious, modern homes set within our grounds, designed for those who value independence with the reassurance of support close by.
Each property features two en-suite bedrooms and has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and sustainability in mind, including eco-friendly features such as energy-efficient heating and solar panels.
Homes are also designed with accessibility in mind, including features such as wide staircases and the option for stairlifts where required.
